Oh boy! Oh boy!

LOOK at what I found on my porch yesterday from Jody over at Confessions of a Ribbon Addict!!! I believe there was some bouncing and possibly clapping when I opened it and got a peek.


I bought a share of her Essentials 2 Primas, and got these FOUR boxes. I own one tiny bottle of Primas. But they are NOTHING compared to these. And this picture doesn't do them justice. At all. They're beautiful. I just know that I've got to make some cards with them, and if Ky goes and plays poker tonight, that's just what I'll be doing. (in between laundry so I feel like a useful contributor to the running of the household)

Walmart goodies by Kurio

I went to Walmart for potting soil, and of course, while I was there, I had to check out the papercrafting items. I found 3 cute things that I couldn't walk away from. Dimensional stickers, chipboard letters in a close match to Certainly Celery, and paper/glitter covered chipboard letters. They were all right at the $3 mark.

Basic Grey 6x6

This arrived just before I got sick, so I haven't had time to share it or use it, but these are SO cool. They're scaled down versions of the 12x12 Basic Grey papers from 5 lines made into 6x6 tablets. They don't appear to have these pads still available in a group, but I bought them from Doodliedoo which I heard about from Emily's blog. If you get a chance to purchase from them, they were priced reasonably and shipped out super-quick! Thanks Doodliedoo!

Michael's finds

Yesterday after going to the bank I stopped by Michael's (which is in the same shopping area). I found a few goodies worth sharing with you...

The coffee tins were on clearance for $2.00 each (and they had other, similar tins for around the same price), I got the requisite $1 Congratulations stamp (which turned out to be a duplicate - hmm, blog candy?), some pearl brads, and the clip-on flowers which were all $1 each. The brads were the most expensive item at $2.99. I think the coffee tins will be great for covering with paper because with that red, I may not have to cover the lid, which is my very least favorite thing about making the lunch boxes with the hinged lids.
