Retired Die Cuts to Die For

This is a product that I was sad to see retire from Stampin' Up's last mini catalog! These die cut blooms really made for quick, easy projects. I also like that they're flowery without being overboard.

A little piece of the (also retired) Summer Picnic designer paper, some Old Olive ribbon, and it's done!

Waste Not, Want Not

The background of this card (the stripes) are made from scraps that I had laying around on my desktop. This technique was something that I saw at last year's Stampin' Up! convention and uses things that would have been thrown out otherwise.

This card also features a Hodgepodge Hardware buckle to tone down the flowery, feminine nature that the card has otherwise. In case you weren't aware, the Hodgepode Hardware sets are RETIRING! But, now is a great time to purchase a set before they go away - they're on sale for just over $20 right now while supplies last or until August 10. If you're interested in purchasing a set(s), please feel free to contact me or your regular demonstrator if you have one already. They're on p. 188 of the current big catalog and they're a great value with nearly 140 embellishments and matching brads. Don't wait too long--these sets are retiring and are only available while supplies last!

Thanks for looking and for those in America - enjoy your Independence holiday and celebrate your freedom!
