This is a $3 wooden frame that I got at Michael's and covered in Basic Grey designer paper. The opening is just under 3.25" x3.25".
To go with the rustic feel of the paper, I also added some linen twine over the existing "scratches" in the paper. I wrapped the twine all the way around the frame and also decoupaged the twine, going over it just like I did with the designer paper. That small touch really added a lot to the dimension of the project!

Very cute - you should be selling those on Etsy!
I used the same frame and covered it with patterned paper. It was super easy and turned out pretty good. I like how you used twine on yours. a
