I know that many of us are feeling like there isn't enough time for everything, and I'm kind of thinking that this blog is one of those things I'm going to phase out. Sometimes my sister comments, but other than that, it's radio silence.
I would like for this to be an unselfish process where I could just humbly post without caring what others think, but when you have a blog and there's never feedback, it really feels like you're just launching it into the ether. I'm looking forward to just creating to create.
It's been a pleasure, but I'm letting this go. Thank you, and good night.

Hi Melissa
Do you leave comments on other people's blogs? I have only been blogging for less than a year but I've discovered that if you leave comments; people will come to see your blog. I've looked at your creations and you do fabulous work. Please keep on blogging!
Hi Melissa,
I'm new to your blog, I just spent over an hour looking through your archives, back to January 2008 and I can't begin to tell you how beautiful I think your work is.
Your cards are gorgeous, you're a wonderful stamper and I love your altered pieces, as well. I love your picture frames and I got a real laugh out of the tape dispenser that you altered with rub-ons. It's the prettiest darn tape dispenser that I've ever seen! lol :)
Seriously, I really think you should reconsider signing off your blog. I think there will be a lot of disappointed people out there. I'm sorry that you haven't been getting many comments on your blog, but it certainly looks like lots of people are visiting. I see your counter is at nearly 45K! I think a lot of people that visit are the same as me when I'm blog surfing. I love looking at all the beautiful work out there, but I only comment on a fraction of the them. It's not that I don't want to comment on them, it's just that if I took the time time to comment on every single blog that I visited, I'd be on the computer all day.
Anyway, please reconsider, cause I'd love to continue to see what beautiful ideas you come up with and I'll promise to make comments as often as I can...but, don't worry, they won't be as long-winded as this one, though! lol :)
Hugs,
Julie
Count me as another who will be sorry to see your blog go.
Like Julie above, I surf around quite a few blogs, and just can't find the time to comment on all that I would like to. Your blog was one of the first that I started following!
I also love your work and really enjoy coming here for ideas.
Take care,
Jan
Just to pipe in as well, I think one of the reasons, of late, for lack of blog commenting, is Google Reader. Or any other blog collecting software.
I use Reader, and love it, because it makes my blog surfing (blurfing) more efficient. Yet, I can't comment on a blog post unless I click over to that blog. Which, if I wanted to have to click on each blog, I'd save it in my bookmarks, rather than Reader.
Just an FYI. I hope you keep posting.
I subscribe to your blog via Google Reader and enjoy seeing your work. I'll be sad to see you sign off and would love it if you would continue to share with us. I'm not always great about leaving comments, but I do read everything that you post and enjoy it! ~chris
Hi Melissa!
Ditto for me...
I read your blog via FeedBlitz, so I don't click over to leave comments very often either...but I do read it and enjoy it.
Keep the blog, but lose the sense of obligation? Maybe you can just post when you really feel inspired to share your cool projects. And it's a good reminder to all of us to put up a comment here and there just to keep the blog fires burning.
I keep my blog going to have a record of what I make all in one place. How about that being your reason to keep it going? I'm one too who visits but doesn't have time to comment often. I do enjoy the comments I receive, wish I had more but realize time is limited for everyone. You do some awesome work, it'd be a shame to let your blog go.
I'm another Reader follower! PLEASE don't stop!
